Terms of use
Last updated October 2026
IELTSora is free
There are no subscriptions, paid tiers or in-app purchases. Some AI-powered features have a daily allowance per learner so that capacity is shared fairly. Allowances may change with available capacity, and the service status page shows current availability.
Practice scores are estimates
Band scores on IELTSora are practice estimates. Listening and Reading scores are calculated from your answers using typical conversion tables, which vary between real test versions. Writing and Speaking feedback is generated automatically against the public assessment criteria and is not given by certified examiners.
No score on IELTSora is an official IELTS result, and we can't guarantee any result in the real test.
Independence
IELTSora is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment, who jointly own IELTS. All practice material on IELTSora is original or used under licence; it is not taken from official test papers.
